Mauro Nisoli is Associate Professor at the Department of Physics of Politecnico of Milan and he is team leader (Attosecond Science) at the National Laboratory for Ultrafast and Ultraintense Optical Science (ULTRAS CNR-INFM). His scientific activity mainly concerns ultrashort-pulse laser technology, high-field physics and attosecond physics. His current scientific interests are: generation and control of few-optical-cycle light pulses with stabilized carrier-envelope phase; extreme nonlinear optics; attosecond technology; control and real-time observation of electronic motion in atoms and molecules.
